Surabaya, Krisanonline.com– Krisanis, This movie is entitle “The English Teacher” what is published on May 22nd, 2020. In this movie there are only three characters but we can only see two main characters. The characters are Louis James as Robert or the English Teacher, Blake Ridder as Jin or the student, and Sophie Cardona as Robert’s wife. This movie also has got an award which is Award Winning Short Film 2020 even though the movieonly takes 12 minutes.
The movie is talking about an Asian Man named Jin that wants to learn English with Mr. Robert. And Jin pays Mr Robert with a really high fee which is £700 which makes Mr. Robert confused. Jin does not really give the reason why he gie a high fee for Mr. Robert, but at the end Jin tell the reason to Mr Robert. He tells what actually happen and the reason why he give £ 700.
This movie only consist two main characters but we still understand the movie well. We can understand how story flows starting from the beginning until the end. Even though on the first scene is not clear enough but then that scene can be understood. At the end of the story they let the viewers know what’s actually happen. The actors of this movie can play their character very well. All the actors can show good facial expression. They can express the feel from their expressiom. The script writers also use simple vocabulary and simple sentence which help the viewer to understand the story. The movie has also many plots which make the viewers do not feel boreed even though the main plot is Jin’s house and Robert’s house. But they use many settings which is very nice. And the topic is also relevent to our daily life. Some people might feel what Jin really feel when people are having car accident.
In my point of view, this movie is very nice, we can see what might happen when someone has a car accident and the victim passed away. We can also see and feel how the doer feel after havin the car accident. This movie really show the reality and it is very good. But for me on the end of the movie, I was wondering where does Jin go after sending Mr. Robert the video. I think it would be better if the movie is a bit longer and told us as the viewer about what happen next especially what happen to Jin. But overall, this movie is very nice.
As a conclusion, I highly recommend this movie because we can refect on what actually happen on the reality. We also can get many moral values from this movie. And we do not really need to spend to much time and internet data because this movie is very short. I hope that there will be other nice short movie which can impress the viewers.

Film berjudul “The English Teacher” ini tayang pada 22 Mei 2020. Dalam film ini hanya ada tiga karakter tapi kita hanya bisa melihat dua karakter utama. Karakter tersebut adalah Louis James sebagai Robert atau Guru Bahasa Inggris, Blake Ridder sebagai Jin atau murid, dan Sophie Cardona sebagai istri Robert. Film ini juga telah mendapatkan penghargaan yaitu Award Winning Short Film 2020 padahal film tersebut hanya berdurasi 12 menit.
Film ini bercerita tentang seorang Pria Asia bernama Jin yang ingin belajar bahasa Inggris dengan Tuan Robert. Dan Jin membayar Tuan Robert dengan bayaran yang sangat tinggi yaitu £ 700 yang membuat Tuan Robert bingung. Jin tidak benar-benar memberikan alasan mengapa dia memberikan bayaran yang tinggi untuk Tuan Robert, tetapi pada akhirnya Jin menceritakan alasannya kepada Tuan Robert. Dia menceritakan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi dan alasan mengapa dia memberikan £ 700.
Film ini hanya terdiri dari dua karakter utama tetapi kami masih memahami filmnya dengan baik. Kita bisa memahami alur cerita mulai dari awal hingga akhir. Meskipun pada adegan pertama kurang jelas namun kemudian adegan tersebut dapat dipahami. Di akhir cerita, mereka memberi tahu pemirsa apa yang sebenarnya terjadi. Para aktor film ini bisa memerankan karakternya dengan sangat baik. Semua aktor bisa menunjukkan ekspresi wajah yang bagus. Mereka bisa mengekspresikan perasaan dari ekspresinya. Penulis naskah juga menggunakan kosakata sederhana dan kalimat sederhana yang membantu penonton untuk memahami cerita. Film ini juga memiliki banyak plot yang membuat penonton tidak merasa bosan meskipun plot utamanya adalah rumah Jin dan rumah Robert. Tetapi mereka menggunakan banyak pengaturan yang sangat bagus. Dan topiknya juga relevan dengan kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Beberapa orang mungkin merasakan apa yang sebenarnya Jin rasakan saat orang mengalami kecelakaan mobil.
Menurut saya film ini sangat bagus, kita bisa melihat apa yang mungkin terjadi jika seseorang mengalami kecelakaan mobil dan korban meninggal dunia. Kita juga bisa melihat dan merasakan bagaimana perasaan pelaku setelah mengalami kecelakaan mobil. Film ini benar-benar menunjukkan kenyataan dan itu sangat bagus. Tetapi bagi saya di akhir film, saya bertanya-tanya ke mana Jin pergi setelah mengirim video kepada Tuan Robert. Saya pikir akan lebih baik jika filmnya sedikit lebih lama dan memberi tahu kami sebagai penonton tentang apa yang terjadi selanjutnya terutama apa yang terjadi pada Jin. Tapi secara keseluruhan, film ini sangat bagus.
Sebagai kesimpulan, saya sangat merekomendasikan film ini karena kita dapat merefleksikan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi pada kenyataan. Kita juga bisa mendapatkan banyak nilai moral dari film ini. Dan kita tidak terlalu perlu menghabiskan banyak waktu dan data internet karena film ini sangat singkat. Saya berharap akan ada film pendek bagus lainnya yang bisa membuat penonton terkesan.
